The community is managed by a Home Owners Association with five elected board members. The term for each member is 2 years. The board members are elected by a vote of the property owners (either by proxy or being present) during the annual homeowners board meeting held each January.

The Board of Directors meet on a quarterly basis and all meetings are open. The first 30 minutes of each meeting are specifically set aside for member communication and concerns.
BOARD MEMBER ELIGIBILITY:
Any Shavano Oaks homeowner is eligible to become a Board Member and if you have an interest you can obtain a Candidate Profile form from a Board Member or the Management Company.
SCHEDULE OF BOARD MEETINGS:
The Shavano Oaks Board of Directors has established the following schedule of meetings for the year 2010. The meetings will be held the third Monday of every other month, beginning at 6:30 PM at the Shavano Oaks Clubhouse. Homeowners are invited and welcomed to attend the meetings.
Remember that the first 30 minutes of each meeting is devoted to hearing from our homeowners.
